Natalie J. Armstrong: Managing Director
Ms. Armstrong has been involved in the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) industry as both a practitioner and a marketer for more than a decade. Ms. Armstrong is the Managing Director and founder of Golden Media, a marketing company dedicated to promoting and marketing the conflict resolution industry. She has designed and developed hundreds of campaigns for private practices, educational institutions, authors, organizations and associations around the world. As a personal consultant to many of the premier providers in the ADR industry, Ms. Armstrong has positioned and promoted practices to see an 80% to 800% increase in business for her clients.
Ms. Armstrong is the author of “The Essential Guide to Marketing Your ADR Practice”. She is frequently invited to speak across the United States on the successful marketing strategies of the conflict resolution industry, the legal industry, professional consulting industry, and the construction industry.
She is the Managing Director of the Institute for Conflict Management, LLC (ICM) one of the world’s premier training and neutral services corporations. ICM has trained more than 2500 professionals around the world in mediation and arbitration skills. ICM also provides mediators and arbitrators to private, corporate and government consumers.
Ms. Armstrong’s formal ADR education has been augmented by thousands of hours of involvement in the industry. She has received certificates in both Mediation and Arbitration from the Institute of Conflict Management and International Mediation from both Tulane University School of Law and Humboldt University School of Law in Berlin Germany. She has received nearly 150 hours in training in numerous national and international mediation, arbitration and communication courses. Ms. Armstrong’s professional education background is in conflict resolution, sociology and criminal psychology.
She was Vice President of the Southern California Mediation Association and Chair of the Membership Committee, a member of the Board of the London Club. Ms. Armstrong has served on the Board of the California Dispute Resolution Council. For the American Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section she served as Vice-Chair of Practice Development Committee and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Standing Committee for Practice, Business and Skills Development.
