Mark Loeterman, Esq.

A mediator highly respected for his ability to get practical and effective results, Mark Loeterman has successfully resolved hundreds of cases involving real estate, business, employment, and insurance issues. During his 24-year career as a lawyer, he has handled a wide range of complex litigation and transactional matters, and is rated “AV”, the highest possible rating, in the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory.

Mr. Loeterman has specialized knowledge and experience in the following substantive areas: real estate acquisitions, financings, sales and leases; commercial transactions and partnership matters; business acquisitions and sales; due diligence issues; secured loans and workouts; business torts such as interference, unfair competition, and trade secrets cases; employment termination, harassment and discrimination; insurance coverage and allocation; and franchising.

Prior to becoming a full-time neutral, Mr. Loeterman was General Counsel to the Fred Sands Companies, then California’s largest independently owned real estate brokerage, and its affiliated services. Mr. Loeterman is a graduate of UCLA and received his JD degree from Southwestern University Law School.
