Mr. Schneebalg heads ICM’s Brussels location and received his law degree from Brussels University (ULB) in 1979. He was one of the pioneers of ADR in Belgium and he took the initiative of creating the Brussels Business Mediation Centre in 1998, a not-for-profit organization sponsored by the French and Flemish Brussels Bar Associations and by the Brussels Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He is a trained business mediator, fluent in French, English, Dutch, Italian, and Hebrew, accredited by the Brussels Bar Association, the BBMC, CMAP (Paris), the NMI (Rotterdam) and the WIPO (Geneva) and has trained in mediation and lectured extensively on that topic in Belgium, France, Italy, Denmark and the U.S. Kluwer in Brussels, Economica, Paris (2003), published a book on Mediation Advocacy that Mr. Schneebalg co-authored with Eric Galton in 2001. The book will be published next month by Giuffre, Milan.
