Response to Demand for Arbitration

The form used by the Respondent to answer the Demand for Arbitration of the Claimant. The form may set forth a general denial or denial of specific issues of the Claimant’s Demand. The form may also set forth a counterclaim and relief sought by the Respondent. Sanction: A fine or penalty, which may be imposed by a Mediator or Arbitrator on a party for failure to comply with any of the Rules or Procedures, or to follow a directive of the Mediator or Arbitrator. Service: Delivery of the statement of claim or other pleadings to those parties named in the arbitration.
