The process by which a neutral third party assists the parties to a dispute in reaching a mutually acceptable settlement. The Mediator serves as the neutral third party who is chosen by the parties.

Mediation serves as an excellent dispute resolution alternative for situations where a project is underway but has reached a problem. ICM’s mediators are available to help parties negotiate through their differences to create their own best solution for the specific project. Mediators do not issue written recommendations or judgments, but merely assist parties in finding their own resolution.
