Industry Specific Solutions
The hospitality industry, with its complex construction projects and complex franchise relationships, can be rife with disputes. Handling these disputes requires specific hospitality experience as well fine-tuned resolution and communication skills.
During construction of a hotel, casino, timeshare, country club, theme park or other project, an IRBTM can avoid costly construction delays. Once the project is built, an IRBTM can keep the long-term relationship between the hotel owners and their franchisors and operators intact, saving enormous sums of money that might otherwise be lost in litigation. It is truly a win-win solution for all parties involved.
Incorporating an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) system into a hospitality project can significantly reduce the time and money involved in pursuing a litigated settlement. This proactive step in the form of an Issue Review Board® (IRB®) is a one-of-a-kind process offered only by the Institute for Conflict Management, LLC. An IRBTM offers all parties involved access to a board of neutrals who handle issues as they arise with Recommendations. In this way, issues don’t become disputes requiring litigation and resulting in delays and expensive legal fees.
Additionally, ICM offers the hospitality industry its specialized and highly trained mediators, arbitrators, and Issue Review Board® members to resolve disputes on an as-needed basis to best serve the parties involved.
